German ambush question (spoiler)

I've watched this actioner a number of times since seeing it on its first release when I was a kid in 1964.

Watching it again, a question jumped out. How the heck did the Nazis find out about the Norwegian plans to attack the anti-aircraft emplacements?

Of course the film's plot demanded that the AA guns be in place - but there is nothing showing how the Germans knew where to ambush all those Norwegian fighters. Clearly the SS crew torturing George G. was destroyed before they could report - so how did they know?

The same question was raised in my mind. I guess the answer lies in either an editing continuity issue, general script weakness, or we were just expected to believe Bergman had talked which put the Germans very much on guard against any possible incursions.🐭

The thought crossed my mind, while viewing it, due to placements of Hun troops, the confidence of the commanding officer, that they had been tipped off or intercepted communication, or interrogated one of the Underground.
