Rest In Peace, Brigadier Frank Savage

October 23, 1994 marks the 22nd anniversary of Robert Lansing going to that big Airbase in the sky.

Even though he was only on the first season of Twelve O'Clock High, he did such a magnificent job on this show that 52 years later, devoted fans are STILL talking about him on Message Boards.

I miss you, Robert Lansing. I always will. God bless you.

Correction: the title should be Rest In Peace, Brigadier General Frank Savage.

He was a great actor, and very unusual-looking. Do you remember his turn on Star Trek as Gary Seven in the episode Assignment: Earth?

When he was on Twelve O'Clock High, I always thought that the way his dark hair contrasted with his blonde eyebrows was very sexy. I did indeed see him on Star Trek. I've always thought that one of the biggest "What ifs of Star Trek history" is what would have happened if Assignment:Earth had of become a TV series?

Laugh while you can, Monkey Boy!

I just remembered that Robert Lansing appeared on an episode of the Flying Nun! Is that weird, or what? But he even did a great job on that episode!

See you upstairs.
