RIP John Glenn

John Glenn, the last surviving member of the Mercury 7 Astronauts and the namesake of John Tracy in Thunderbirds, has passed away at age 95.

The fifth human to go into space, the first American to orbit the Earth, and the oldest person to go into space when he was 77 and flew in the space shuttle in 1998.
