Granted, the original comic strips by Charles Addams, and the 90's Addams films with Raul Julia, were both better than the 60's Addams show, BUT, The Munsters was far too goofy, corny, and just The Three Stooges in monster make-up.
shareI like them both, but The Addams Family was too dependent on the same gags (the tortoise has two heads, that's unusual. We get it), and I never understood why anyone would be so rattled by Gomez playing with his trains.
The Munsters left the house on a regular basis, and didn't rely on catchphrases.
The Addams Family and The Munsters are both asinine drivel. To say "Addams Family were better" is akin to saying "vomit is better than diarrhea."
