Would this Munsters knock-off work? Gay family w/ a straight daughter

..they lament that that she is a "poor, unfortunate one who never gets to have any Lesbian sex because she turns off all the girls".

Any neighbor that they find paired off as an opposite sex couple they find to be "a little odd".

Instead of making references to weird stews and soups they talk about dildos and vaseline all the time?

They talk about their Great-Grandpa the Marquis de Sade.

Or have they already done a sit-com like this (Modern Family? I havent watched much TV in the past 20 years).

That might work as a one off thing but I would have a hard time imagining how it would get much mileage as an ongoing series. It almost sounds like a Mad Magazine parody.

I remember them doing it as a skit on "Saturday Night Live" with Howard Hesseman. I agree that it would work more as a skit than a long-term series. Also, "Modern Family" isn't anything like this as there are only two gay characters on the series.

Annoying the world since 1960!
