Speaking in foreign languages

I loved this show growing up, but one of the most aggravating aspects of shows from the 60's is whenever it shows an episode with a foreign storyline, they had the actors speak in that language. I am watching Daniel Boone now, on INSP, and it's the episode "The Grand Alliance". It features Gabe and Josh assisting a Spanish pirate to expose an attempt by the Spanish government conspiring to conquer the United States.

Throughout this entire show, it shows the pirate and the Spanish soldiers ALL speaking in Spanish. No subtitles, nothing but important dialogue being in a language that the vast majority of the people who would watch the show couldn't understand. That is very aggravating.

The show itself has a very uneven storyline and is not really very good anyway. This is also a show that has very little of Daniel in it. He is in a couple of minutes at the first of the episode and a couple of minutes at the end.

Yes, I noticed extensive use of Spanish in at least one episode. However, in the two episodes dealing with refugees from the French Revolution (and never mind they were about twenty years ahead of themselves there), the French people speak perfect English. I can believe that royalty (maybe) may have learned English as part of their schooling, but I can't believe everyone from France would speak English so well with no accents. Also most of the Native Americans speak English well and when native dialogue is used I bet the words are fake.
