I have been trying to find information on the rifles Fess Parker used in the show. Does anyone know where I can find the manufacturer(s), models, and calibers of the guns Mr. Parker used? One in particular had ornate relief carving on the buttstock and the entire length of the stock. Thanks!

Some of the gun-fan magazines do occasional articles on "famous TV and movie guns," and I think I saw something recently on the guns of Daniel Boone. I'll check.

I don't know if they have an entry on "Daniel Boone", but it's an interesting site.
Did anyone keep track of how many guns he lost? In Season 2, episode 20, "The Gun," Daniel's gun was hopelessly broken and he walked to Lancaster to have a special custom gun made. A couple of episodes later, I believe in Season 2, episode 23, "The Gun Barrel Road," Daniel gave up his gun and made all the others present give up theirs to get out of a bad situation alive. How many versions of "Tick-Licker" were there?
