Samantha Stephens (Elizabeth Montgomery) prettier than the Wicked Witch of the West (Margaret Hamilton)

Elizabeth Montgomery was a prettier witch than Margaret Hamilton. What would the series be like if Margaret Hamilton guest starred in any of it's episodes.

That's the understatement of the century!! It would have been fun to see Margaret Hamilton guest starring in an episode! I wonder how they would have worked her into a script. Darrin made a lot of references to Endora being the "wicked witch of the west". Might've been cute to see her portray Endora's great aunt, sans the green make-up of course!

Imagine Darrin's jaw dropping to the floor when they were introduced. lol It would've been a nice twist to see her play a sweet Aunt Clara type character.

I saw a clip of Margaret Hamilton one time on TV. She talked about The Wizard of Oz, of course. She told the audience that her agent thought she would be good in that movie. She asked him what role would she play.

She said, "He said, well the Wicked Witch, what else?"

OMG, opportunity missed!!!

Might have been funny even in green makeup and character!

For some reason, Margaret Hamilton has always reminded me of Vincent Schiavelli - comparing her to Montgomery is as nonsensical as comparing Schiavelli to Ghost co-star Patrick Swayze. Obviously Montgomery is prettier. Is that in question?

The series would be fun - which it still was without her, but still. I'm sure the episode starring her would've been enjoyable.

Thanks for the assessment of Montgomery's and Hamilton's relative attractiveness, Captain Obvious.
