Accidental Twins (Fun on Purpose)

Just one of my favorite Aunt Clara "goofs"! I loved the outfit Elizabeth Montgomery wore for their evening out with the Tates.

The Jonathan twins were definitely identical unlike the Murphy twins. I would never be able to tell them apart.

Aunt Clara utters one of my favorites of her confusing explanations.

"I'm a little vague at times, but on the other hand, when I forget, I'm definite." lol

The only thing I don't understand is how she looks younger when Sam only sends her back a few years in time. The witches age at a very slow rate. Sam would probably have to send her back a century or more for Clara to look any different. I don't think ten years would make a difference in how they look.

We do learn a little about the extent of their powers. One was the real Jonathan and one was only a product of witchcraft. So, the witches can't really conjure up actual people out of nothing. I've always wondered if the Tates were given the fake Jonathan, would Aunt Clara's spell wear off eventually and the fake would disappear?

Don't share that same opinion. And, yes, while the 'witches' age differently, they certainly could look differently over a
ten year period. In an adult life, TEN years is a long time.

Anyway, didn't 1971 Sam look eons different than her first season self???

I just meant that the witches aged at such a slow rate, I doubt ten years would be that pronounced.. Of course Sam looked different in 1971. Her portrayer was human! ha ha Elizabeth Montgomery changed her hair and make-up too. I often suspect that she made herself appear to age gradually so people wouldn't be suspicious as Darrin got older and she didn't.

Anyway, a lot of people look the same for years. Did you ever watch Seinfeld? Except for Elaine's hairstyle changes and George getting balder, the cast looked pretty much the same for ten years. Same is true for The Big Bang Theory.
