If You Could Write Yourself into an Episode...

Just one of those things to use the imagination. I'm curious. If you could write yourself into a Bewitched episode, what type of character would you be? Would you be one that was already created or would you be an original one? Witch or human?

A lot of TV series have fan fiction. I've read a lot of Star Trek stories and many female authors create a "Mary Sue" story, that is the character they create really represents themselves in the story. Often it's a heroine, romantic type who Kirk and/or Spock fall in love with.

I used to write stories about my favorite TV shows when I was a kid. I never wrote a Bewitched one, but I always imagined a story with Samantha's sister. If I wrote a fan fic, I would be her long lost sister.

I always wished that they had done an episode where Sam had a sibling. And no, not another dual role for Elizabeth Montgomery, a different actress.

If I could go back in time, the only thing I could say, was I would've love to have written (or have someone
else write) an episode where EVERY MAJOR CHARACTER was in it: Aunt Clara, Endora, Maurice, Tabitha,
Serena, Dr. Bombay, Uncle Arthur, Larry and Louise. Sort of a nutty party, similar to the one Uncle Arthur
throws on Halloween. I'd also want Gladys and Abner in it.

I see it in the fourth year, as Serena and Dr. Bombay were not appearing regularly until that point. I also
wouldn't want it in the Sargent years - prefer York, and, of course, we'd want Aunt Clara around.

One of the reasons I enjoy "Out of Synch, Out of Mind", is that we get both Darrin's parents, Aunt Clara, AND
Dr. Bombay (in his early time period when he was a character, and not yet a campy caricature). The one scene
between Bombay and Clara is brief, but pleasant to watch.

(We also get tons of shots of the guardian angel at the top of the stairs!!! My favorite décor).

Uh....we can leave out Adam.

Yes, that would've been an amusing episode, every major character in it. I'd even like to see Aunt Clara's boyfriend Ocky and Sam's other aunts, Enchantra and Hagatha.

But I doubt if Darrin would go for it. He was always a nervous wreck if Endora or Aunt Clara were present when Larry or his parents were visiting. He was never sure what would happen. Still, it would've been fun to see!
