How does Endora REALLY feel about Darren?

Sometimes I think beneath the bluster, she has a certain amount of respect for him. I think some of the pranks she pulls might be a manifestation of how she feels about men in general; plus I think she's just a little playful.

Still, somehow I think deep inside she thinks he's a good man, and husband for her daughter.

I think she would like him better if he was less uptight about witchcraft. It's different for Samantha to avoid using it around mortals, but he doesn't want her to EVER use it and has a hissy fit every time she does. I think she's especially miffed at his policy when it comes to Tabitha. Tabitha should be taught how to use it correctly rather than be constantly scolded or told not to.

That being said, I think she cares enough about him as the husband of her daughter and the father of her grandchildren to not want to see him come to REAL harm, from example from Maurice who has actually tried to murder him (a line Endora wouldn't cross).

I always thought they could somewhat get along if Darrin didn't always insult her, I've notice, generally Darrin is the one who throws the 1st insult 95% of the time.

I think Maurice has a certain respect for Darren too. After all the hullabaloo of their first meeting, they had a very pleasant evening ("I might even get to like you in a hundred years or so")
