Sin Stalker storyline 1987

I used to keep notes of the 3 soap operas I watched. I just found this paper where I listed the suspects and why each of them could and couldn't be the Sin Stalker. I still remember this storyline so well. When the sin stalker was revealed it was a total shock. That to me is the hallmark of good writing.

I'll summarize to show how well and truly the writers crafted this story with at least 9 suspects -

1. Adam. It can't be him because he has alibis for most of the killings. It would be nice to be him because he is so intense and jumpy. He had a dream where the killer was himself.

2. Chad. It can't be him because he loves women. He is ambitious. It could be him because he has no alibis at all.

3. Tony. It can't be him because the show constantly tries to make him look guilty. It could be him because he has no alibis.

4. Peter. It can be him because he has no alibis and is not on the show for days and weeks at a time. No one knows what he does.

5. Scott. He is never suspected therefore he is a likely one. He has no known activities.

6. Reginald. He is never suspected so it could be him. He could have a dual personality.

7. Dave, Josie's husband, Val, or Peggy - possibilities but too boring.

8. Greg. It could have been Greg, and Tony possibly killed him to save Nancy's life.

9. Dr. Glaser. Can't be because he is too good a doctor.

You were soooo wrong about Dr. Glaser! 

That was an awesome reveal when John ripped his mask off in the lighthouse, only to fall out and wind up blind as a bat. But no one ever stayed blind for long in Bay City...
