Jonny Quest meets Scooby-Doo.

Really with all the cross-overs Scooby-Doo did over the years, why didn't they ever think of THIS one?
After all if you think about it Jonny, Hadji and Bandit often stumbled across the villains schemes before anyone else did and thus were the original 'Meddling kids and their dog!'

That does seem like a natural idea. Plus they were both Hanna Barbera productions. Would love to have seen Scooby and Bandit communicate with each other.

Readiness is all.

Scooby Doo is the most wretched piece of dreck in human history. It was created from an idiot who told the Hanna Barbara studios to make a cartoon from a nonsensical portion of a Frank Sinatra song by trying to be a smart A$$.

reply

The original? oh, hell no! The later series? yeah, they got worse as they went along. It's light years better than many an H-B production.

Fortunately, Ah keep mah feathers numbered for just such an emergency!

You probably shouldn't talk about that. If this post was supposed to make you look like a smart ass, you came out looking like a dumb ass who couldn't even google basic history on a property.

reply

It also seems to fit because a lot of that suspenseful music from Jonny Quest WAS also used in Scooby Doo, usually right before the monster showed up in the beginning.

reply

Despite Bandit doing and reacting more human than most dogs. The show had a more serious and realistic tone.
It makes no sense to mix the two properties. That's like mixing Popeye and Superman.

While there were plenty of HB examples prior to make an argument, you still hold to this even though Jonny Quest just interacted with Tom and Jerry all well and good last year?

Not to mention in the Scooby Doo Team Up comic they did have a Scooby/Jonny crossover not that long ago too.
