Just saw the floor plan of the Addames house and....

I just bought the book Fantasy Floor Plans, and was looking at the Addams' house and it is interesting to look at but I think ratehr inaccurate.

For one thing it has the playroom as being on the FIRST FLOOR! I always thought the play room was below, like in the basements, but in this it had it as being right next to the kitchen!

It had Fester's lab and the dungeon being downstairs in the basement part.

But I'm wondering, I know sometimes they go into other rooms that LOOK like the play room but have slightly different furnishings, like they went into one where they were using it as a JUNK room when they were actioning things off, then Fester works in one sometimes.

I wonder if all those are supposed to be the same room or different rooms.

Just because we lose today's battle doesn't mean we've lost tommorow's war.

I believe there are also Addams family floorplans in the book TV Sets.

And I have often tried to figure out how to fit the floorplan of the sets into the actual building and the matt paintng used to show the exterior of the Addams house.

I think that it is probably impossible to fit the interior within the exterior, whcih is one of the reasons why attempted floor plans of the Addams house might be inaccurate. As with many movie and television buildings, it might be impossible to fit the interior within the exterior.

Which is a pity because a replica of the addams house might be a cool place to live.

Sounds like the Tardis! In fact if it materialised there...

I thought the play room was upstairs.
