The real fact is that The Munsters had a working-class sensibility and the The Addams Family had more of an upper middle-class/rich feel to it. The Munsters always seemed more dopey and low-brow and the AF was odd, quirky, but classier.

shareYes The Addams' Family actually has some depth in the storylines.... It's sorta like the whole Freddy Krueger vs Jason thing... The Freddy movies actually make you think a little. I've noticed ppl who prefer Freddy usually like the Addams Family better as well.
