George Peppard


George Peppard did this film on loan from MGM to Columbia. A Major advancement in Peppard's career working with a noted director Carl Foreman.

MGM also loaned George Hamilton and this film was the second time the two George's co starred the first was Home From The Hill.

Michael Callan was a Columbia star and this film was important to Callan's career too.

George had a lot of chances to really break out. Not that he wasn't successful but when your first major film is Tiffany's you might have expected more. He could act but maybe his personal life got in the way. He was good in Victors.
