Liz and Dick's music same as 'Airplane'??

Am I the only one who noticed that the theme music during Liz and Dick's scenes(especially at the end) is the same or extremely similar to the love themes from the movie "Airplane"...
I enjoyed The VIP's greatly but I couldn't help laughing when that theme music came on...

You're not the only one. I heard the resemblance, too. After the film, I had to youtube "Love Theme from Airplane" - started laughing about two notes in.
