I was just reading Vivien Leigh's biographical page here on IMDb and came across this: "Had an affair with actor Peter Finch that nearly ended her marriage to Laurence Olivier. The movie The V.I.P.s (1963) is based on an incident from Leigh's and Olivier's marriage, when she was about to leave him for Finch but Olivier wooed her back." Anyone know if this is true?
shareIt's almost 2 years late, but from what I read, yes. Leigh was trying to leave London with her lover, Peter Finch, but got fogged in at the airport. Olivier was able to get to the airport and stop her from leaving.

You can't be "properly treated" for bi-polar -- You have to want to take treatment. Many avoid treatment, like Stephen Fry, afraid the creativity will disappear with it. I can only reiterate poor, poor Larry -- and to think he brought it on himself by wooing her back!
