Immediate (instinctive) reactions at the end

Anyone else have a strong emotional and, likely irrational thought or reaction directly following the movie? I just yelled swears at the TV and I'm not sure if it was because I wanted to know more and felt gypped or if I felt too much sympathy for Ester. Either way I'm interested if anyone else has any immediate reactions to it.

The overall situation with its lack of contact, underlying despair, nervousness and dissolution really pulls me in. It's a very sensuous film (the cinematography!) but there's a deep sense of fear and breakdown at the heart of it. To Bergman it was liberating though, in many ways.

You are a lunatic, Sir, and you're going to end up on the Russian front. I have a car waiting.
