Pulp Fiction Inspiration?

i know wikipedia isnt gospel but i just saw this movie (and have seen pulp fiction)...and from there website
it says....
According to Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary, Black Sabbath was the inspiration for Pulp Fiction.

just now sure how it relates i know strange things can inspire something totally different but does anyone see any true similarities between the two?

It inspired Tarantino to have Pulp Fiction be about multiple stories.

You want to talk to God? Let's go see him together, I've got nothing better to do.

oh ok thanks ..that makes some sense

It sounds like a red herring if you ask me. There are dozens of these anthology films. There's no reason Black Sabbath would be "inspiration" for Pulp Fiction -- the stories aren't interconnected, they don't take place in the same location, characters aren't reused in the various sections.

Mystery Train is much closer in style to Pulp Fiction, although perhaps that's why QT wouldn't mention it...

No necessarily Pulp Fiction but definitely this movie inspired Geezer Butler, bass player of the heavy metal band to suggest it as a name for his band, formerly called Earth ................the start of something BIG.

'Pulp Fiction' is nothing like this.
