Geraldine Page Golden Globe

I'm surprised no one has commented on this, but how exactly did Geraldine Page get nominated for a Best Actress (Drama) Golden Globe for this movie in 1964 AND 1965???

Has there ever been a precedent of someone being nominated for the same film TWICE in two different years?

I am pretty sure that Geraldine was nominated in 1963 for Toys in the Attic and in 1964 for Dear Heart. I have noticed that also, and I'm sure it's a typo.

Actually, Geraldine Page's nominations were for "Toys in the Attic" in 1963 and for "Dear Heart" in 1964.

I love Geraldine Page as an actor. Especially Trip to Bountiful.
I mean she can play distraught! A character with lots of issues, but you still love her.

But I often wonder if she got type cast into playing these characters early on.
I haven't seen all her movies yet, but I see a pattern.

Ephemeron.

Page really plays some thoroughly unhinged and deeply neurotic characters. Just between this and "Interiors" alone, she's got that truly nailed down.
