As far as I can work out the Y30,0000,000 in todays money is $1.3. His Y50m check was for 1/3 of the 19% share, or 6&1/3%. He already owned 28%, which was worth Y222M or about $9.6m.

They recovered all the money, he could pay his creditors back, sure they can kick his out of the company, but he'll keep his shares... :p

Other than that, I enjoyed it :)

It's hard to say how well detailed the script is to the business aspect. All I know is he took a loan out for $500,000 and would have to pay back in total $1.5 million.

That being said, stock does not have to be purchased at a reasonable market value. He might have overpaid for company stock.
