My locations maps

Using Google Maps, I'm making some Movie Locations Maps.

I've made 3 of them "public", so that others can see:
Godzilla (1954) http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=11 1706761619429086756.00046186c8157d3c75c6b&z=6
High and Low (1963) http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=11 1706761619429086756.00045fd1dbce247ef602b&z=9
You Only Live Twice (1967) http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=11 1706761619429086756.00046165a1a6d864446f3&z=3

I want to know what the fans of these movies think about them,
so I'm posting this to the related boards.

- I know they are far from perfect. I couldn't locate some places, and some placemarks are merely my "best guesses".
- I could have put snapshots from the movies but I didn't, simply because I don't want to violate copyright.
- I'm fairly new to Google maps, so there may be better representations I don't know.

Any comments (including negative ones) will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Nice job! Looks like you put a lot of effort into it. As I was watching the movie (High & Low) I was thinking that it would be great to try to find the locations and see what they look like now. Not that I think I will ever make it to Japan to find out.

Thanks for that. I watched 'High and Low' yesterday and was about to look for some of the locations on Google Maps and this helped a lot.

Thanks for sharing this - I've spent some time trying to find High and Low filming locations on Google Maps. I've found a man on YouTube who posted videos of many of these locations, as well as filming locations of a few other Kurosawa films - you can find them here: http://www.youtube.com/user/oooooKENooooo#g/u . I've managed to locate a few of the places on his videos.

I saw Heaven and Hell today for the second time. And after watching it twice, I also became interested in its filming locations, so thanks for posting. It's interesting to see what they look like today.

Thanks for this! Incredible. Especially when considering how essential geography was in this movie in regards to plot and character motivations.

I'm currently living in Fujisawa, near Enoshima island.

I recognised a lot of the locations while watching the film and I might see if I can have a look around at some point.

Enoshima looks pretty similar to how it looks in the film but the mainland area around it is much more developed than it was in the 60s.
