Yes, I've had this on video for nearly a year, but didn't bother to watch it until this past weekend. I was pleasantly surprised. If one can get past the fact the main players are all too long in the tooth, it's fast-paced with two of the most tremendous large-scale battle scenes I've ever seen. And those were all real people, not computer-generated phantoms! Yes, there are plenty of anachronisms, but in the long run the picture is rousing and even ends on a note of melancholy. BTW, my copy is called SWORD OF LANCELOT. I'm hoping to find another Wilde film BEACH RED, which was supposedly a great influence on Spielberg when he was planning SAVING PRIVATE RYAN.
