Guinevere?

I was just watching the scene with the squirrels and noticed that Merlin commented particularly that she was a redhead.

In many Arthur stories I've read, Guinevere's had red hair. I was just wondering fi this was a sort of in joke about the future doomed romance of Arthur and Guinevere.

Any other theories?

Not at all a comment on the red hair, but you mentioned that you have read some Arthur stories. I'm looking to read some, or some of similar themes, specifically from the medieval era. Any suggestions?

The most accessible (easiest to read) is The Once and Future King by T.H. White. It is four books in one; this movie is based on the first book by the same name.

My favourite ones are the Warlord Chronicles by Bernard Cornwell. They're very historically accurate but intriguing.

Arthur, High King of Britan - Michael Morpurgo is also good.

The most historically 'accurate' book availible will be 'The Once and Future King' by TH White. SImply because it basically all comes from l' morte d'arthur by thomas mallory, a 13th centuary knight who compliled all the stories/bits of evidence about arthur availivle at the time and put them together :-)

As it happens its a brilliant book, and inspired the wonderful camelot staring richard harris

I'm pretty sure that squirrel girl had nothing to do with Guinivere.

Yes, it's true! IMDB has reached Sweden!

In the many I've read, Guinevere is always dark-haired.

We must be the change we wish to see.

I always wondered if that girl squirrel could have been Guinevere.
