How did she get into the green dress

She was wearing the blue outfit in the Japanese restaurant...Russ insists on dropping Mike off at Penn Station, saying it's right on the way to Club Nero. Then at the club she's in a totally different outfit. Did they cut out a scene?

I guess it's like looking at clouds. You see one thing and I see another. Peace.

Lol, I just noticed that too. Movie magic.

I didn't notice! I'll pay attention to that next time

Good catch, I never noticed. But maybe she took a fancy dress along knowing she'd be going to the Club Nero? I would totally do something like that.

reply

Good point. She probably changed clothes somewhere.

Yeah, I would change clothes IN the car - I have more than once. In those days they were probably more proper and modest.

I don't see why she couldn't have quickly changed at home before heading over there. The OP's concern doesn't make much sense to me.

OP is wondering if they cut out a scene. I think it was just an oversight/goof.
You are right, they might have gone to dinner, come back home and changed and headed back out to the club.

In any case, a fun film.

reply

Either a scene was cut, or they just didn't need to show them stopping off at home (or elsewhere) so that she could change clothes.
