At the skating rink

When Eileen and Mike go to the skating rink to look for Adam, why didn't Eileen tell Mike (who wanted to help her) that Adam is with a flashy redhead? Mona would have been very easy to spot in any crowd. It's not as if though anyone's reputation would have been ruined if Mike knew that Adam was at the rink with Mona.

I wonder if Eileen knew, deep down inside, that Adam never really intended to go to the skating rink?
