Fave MST3K Quote...

My husband lives, eats, breathes, and bathes in MST3K...I've seen this movie a hundred times over. My most-est favorite-ist quote from this one is when Crow asks..."Why do they wear helmets...in case they land on thier heads?" Funny stuff!!

Mike: Marlo Thomas in "That Guy". (That line cracks me up!)

Other classics from the Industrial Arts short: Mike and the Bots singing Tool Operator to the music of "Smooth Operator".

i HATE mystery science blaha crap 3000.

They so ruin the movies. and they make it harder to find the originals. sicne when theyve done a movie then its often that version youll find when you search for hte film.

You must not have a very good sense of humor. And, if they really do ruin films, would that be why, say, David Giancola praised MST3K for introducing Time Chasers to many future fans of said film?

reply

It's rather foolish to blame MST3K for the unavailability of these films. If it weren't for MST3K, they most likely would not be available in any form. In addition, after having appeared on MST3K, the interest in some of these films has increased, prompting their release in their original form. So, overall, the films mocked by MST3K are more available than if they had never been used on the show.

And at least MST3K gave us versions of the shows we can actually SIT through.

Haven't seen this one in a while but:

Actor to lead actress; "You're prettier all the time"

Crow (I think); "She must've wrote the dialogue"

Quotes from my favourite scene w/ the 1st skydivin' f8ality:

Well, better get the spatula & garbage bag.
I'm OK! [sic]
@ least we don't have 2 repack his chute.
Hey I saw that your chute didn't op...en.
We thought about scattering his remains off an airplane but that sounded insensitive. [sic]
Where's Squishy? [sic]
Aw, he's outta bounds. 2 stroke penalty. [sic]

But nothing made me LMAO like the illusion that that guy rode his hog inside a chicken coop.

I have 2 say; my interest in "Mystery Science Theater 3000" piqued when I began making my own comments watching so-so films on THIS, Telefutura, or Telemundo while playing the Wii. & then I typed "mst3k" on YouTube & now that's my new YouTube obsession. I didn't know "Skydivers" was hideous enough to be in the Bottom 10! Well, good thing the mst3k guys were there to make that movie tolerable.
