B movie that gets the point across

Watched this last night- three months after capturing it on DVR from TCM. I was curious about Breck's performance- being one of his fans from his portrayal of Moon in The Beatniks from Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Breck did not let me down- the movie, while both threadbare and over the top- did a good job of showing the misery of a mental institution. Not quite ready to surrender this one to Rifftrax or Cinematic Titanic for their treatment- instead, would recommend to anyone who wants a B movie slice that's a bit above sea level, with a strong leading actor.
