Peter Breck looked like...

Just finished watching this extraordinary film with those weird colour sequences.

However, I could not help but think that the leading actor Peter Breck looked a complete ringer for the very young, Roger Moore, when he was in his 'The Saint' days.

Anyone else agree?

reply

indeed! about every fourth shot of him i felt i was watching the saint.

"Rampart: Squad 51."

reply

I kept thinking Gig Young, or one of the Baldwin brothers.

reply

He looked like a love child of Roger Moore and Charlie Sheen, to be more particular.

Also, one of the wardens seemed to be related to Orson Welles and the psychiatrist looked like Burt Lancaster´s ugly brother.

reply

I totally recognized the Orson Welles lookalike warden right away. Good call!

reply

I always thought there was a slight resemblance between Peter and Charlie Sheen.

reply

I agree, dead ringer for a young Roger Moore!

What the hell do you know about surfing, Major? You’re from goddamned New Jersey! - Apocalypse Now

reply

Breck looked more like a young Robert Wagner to me.

reply

look like Charly Sheen

reply

I saw this last night, before reading this thread i might add. Sometime i thought he looked like Charlie Sheen, other times Lee Majors. But, i can definitely see the Roger Moore

reply

Watching it now. Charlie Sheen all the way.

reply

To me there were 3 look-a-likes.

Peter Breck looked like Charlie Sheen

Constance Towers kept reminding me of Julianne Moore

And one of the Wardens, the one who calls Johnny a phoney at his admittance to the hospital, he looks pretty close to Orson Welles...

Regardless, great film, the raining hallway was brilliant.

reply

The actor playing Pagliacci looked very much like a young Peter Ustinov when he first appears in the film, before he speaks.

reply

Roger that on "Saint"-era Moore!

reply

To me he looks more like Charlie Sheen and in some takes as Nathan Fillion.
