I felt kind of sorry for the villain


That scene where Johnny forces Wilkes to confess was pretty unsettling. Johnny basically beats his face up and tortures him into confessing; that shot of Wilkes crying out, "I KILLED SLOANE!!!" was tough to watch. Sure, he's a criminal, but man. Poor guy.

What I don't understand is how we're going to stay alive this winter.

That whole fight is *insane.* A couple long, wide master shots of these three guys who really, honestly look like they're beating the crap out of each other. Props to the stunt coordinator (or lack thereof?).

I think everybody who worked at the hospital knew Wilkes killed Sloane, but nobody had the guts to report the murder to the police, so that's why Wilkes was exposed by Johnny, at the end.

I think nobody who worked at the hospital knew Wilkes killed Sloan, but at least Wilkes got what he deserved and was eventually prosecuted.
