Actually I thought ending it with the rattlesnakes was quite appropriate. Death by fire would have been too quick. As it was we got to hear him scream while Ms.Hovey was standing there by the car listening to the ballgame that she and her friends had intended to see.

If it had been a modern day film they'd have ended it to where they could have followed up with at least 10 terribly made sequels. No I liked the end as it was.

I thought their chance to escape was b/c of him drinking all those sodas! He was downing one after another. The guy has gotta go pee sometime!
