This movie and the JFK Assassination

I just read in a book that the Warren Commission checked the Dallas news papers and found a reference to Running Man and Lee as in Lee Harvey Oswald and thought it may have been a code to contact the killers of JFK. It turned out the reference was to this movie and the name Lee was a character in the movie.
