Laserlight DVD version?

I notice that this is the only one for regular sale at Amazon's U.S. site. Anyone know how this compares to the Milestone version? Worth getting for the $8 if I already have the Milestone?

I think the one you're referring to is the cheaper version. I hear it comes from an unrestored print.

It is bargain ben, I got Mr. Arkadan from them and got a terrible unrestored print. Nice introduction from Tony Curtis but that is it. Stay with the Milestone edition. The strange thing is I ordered it off of Media Play and they usually come through with good material.

Is this the version you're referring to by chance?

I found the Laserlight DVD for $1.95 in a video store, and it was pretty much what I expected from that imprint: A sloppy copy, with bad sound and picture, plus a lot of hiss.

Much of the dialogue appeared to be either dubbed of out of sync with the action on the screen. Did anyone else notice this on the Laserlight DVD?
