Is it ever explained how Simone and Clouseau got married? It seems to have been part of some sort of master plan between Simone and Charles Lytton, as they obvously knew each other. My point is, she is clearly too sophisticated and way out of Closeaus league, a woman like her would never fall for someone like Closeau.
