Is this the movie where Oliver Reed and his girlfriend were trying to drive his niece crazy and she ends up stabbing the police inspector's wife? Seems like I remember the girl having nightmares about a strange woman and a knife in a birthday cake.
I got this box set real cheap on Ebay and it is AMAZING! Paranoiac is brilliant! A really underrated film, and shows Francis to be a great talent as a director.

I watched it last night. Oliver Reed's character has a girlfriend who is also his sister's nurse, but there's no police inspector or knife/birthday cake nightmares.
Good film. Loses it a bit right at the end, but still good.
