Hi,one can never be too rich or have too many friends. Is this the movie where Oliver Reed and his girlfriend were trying to drive his niece crazy and she ends up stabbing the police inspector's wife? Seems like I remember the girl having nightmares about a strange woman and a knife in a birthday cake.

I got this box set real cheap on Ebay and it is AMAZING! Paranoiac is brilliant! A really underrated film, and shows Francis to be a great talent as a director.

I watched it last night. Oliver Reed's character has a girlfriend who is also his sister's nurse, but there's no police inspector or knife/birthday cake nightmares.

Good film. Loses it a bit right at the end, but still good.

The girl having nightmares about the strange woman, the knife and the birthday cake is from the movie "Nightmare" which is also on this DVD set.
