Trying to find a different version (spoiler)

There is a version of this story in which the 'french nurse' character was killed by being knocked out, and then pushed off a cliff and down into the ocean.
The skeletal remains of the other murder victim are found down in an underground chanber (like a big well or cistern or sewer main).
