The Doctor Scene....a little over 20Mins in.

The professor went to go see the University doctor who had all these initials behind his name. For example: Dr. M. Sheppard Levee P.K.M.I.F.O.S. I'm just trying to understand if that was supposed to be funny or not. If it was help me understand so I can chuckle a little. Or maybe it WAS meant to be funny since people tend to have a lot of initials behind their name to highlight their accomplishments.
