The last scene was the greatest!!!! Best ever!!!

The slow tension is terrific. This is one of my favorite french films. Another great one that is somewhat similar is called, "Bob Le Flambeur" or "Bob The Gambler", directed by Pierre Melleville.
I also think the film score, even though it uses a lot of the same song, is amazing and really works well with the last scene.
