I remember seeing this in black n white, now i see here there is a colored version too (with 15 min missing in some way) how is that possible? Why is there a black n white, did the director prefere that? or is there an other reason? And I m also wondering why is de color version 15 min shorter?

Hi. I don't know about the 15 min missing, but I've just seen the colored version today on TV. It seems it was colored over the black and white, like they did, at least in France, for several black and white classics. I don't think the movie was shot in colour at the time.
It was a bit strange becausse I've seen it several times before in the original black and white.
