THIS MOVIE IS BORING
This movie is boring.
Old people are boring.

...that "Switchback" is the greatest film ever made.

The dislike section of your profile almost got me kicked out of the library for laughing out loud! Keep it up! By the way, I was in Vancouver over the summer, now back in San Diego. As for the loss prevention officers in book stores--This really happened in Vancouver: "Can you be finished in another ten minutes?" "Why, are you closing?" "No, but you've been looking at that book for about a half an hour. This is a book store, not a library." "Fine, then I'll be sure never to make a purchase in here since you put time limits on browsing."
shareA truly boring movie.
shareNo, the movie is not boring at all.
I is a reflection about time (and the music is fitting very well!).
Boulogne as a town is an actor like the others.
Delphine Seyring is magnificent.
What is going on in the mind of the young man coming back from Algeria?
(Boulogne is also a war testimonial of the bombings World War II).
That is the point.
Why is Alphonse coming back to see his one-beloved?
That is a second subject.
But I did not like the abrupt ending on the girl friend.
It'll be delightful when your children - and your children's children - say you're boring because you're "old".
What a douche.

Couldn't agree more. A truly dreadful film. An unfortunate stinker from Resnais.
"Having a heart is heartbreaking."
