Cora (spoilers)

When Flora Robson plays Miss Milchrest she appears to have her own voice but when she plays Miss Milchrest disguised as Cora it sounds like she'd dubbed...does anybody know who did the dubbing?

I was surprised they dubbed her. I would have thought Ms Robson could have produced a convincing alternative voice.

Are we sure "Cora"'s voice was dubbed? Could I not be artifically treated, or could it just be Flora Robson acting?

I watched the film last night. "Cora"'s voice is certainly different.

It sounded dubbed, as it didn't fit in smoothly with the rest of the soundscape...although I suppose it could just be treated in some way

Her voice when she's diguised as Cora did not sound dubbed to me. It sounded a bit different from her voice in the rest of the movie but I thought was deliberate, because she was trying to disguise it and because she was speaking through a veil.

Spoilers. I would think Flora Robson's voice was dubbed imitatating Cora at the reading of the will. If anybody watching the film for the first time recognised it as Flora Robson's voice, then the game would be up there and then. Later in the revelation scene Flora Robson seems to be using more or less her normal voice when she is disguised as Cora for the second time.
