Still Can't Quite Accept the Premise

Longman has a loving, gorgeous wife, 4 kids, a job he seemingly enjoys and believes the isolation tank was the source of Sharpey's troubles, yet gets into the tank to ostensibly clear his name. Doesn't quite make sense to me. There was never going to be any good come from such a move.🐭
