Hot Mother/Daughter Duo

Was there a hotter Mother/Daughter Duo onscreen in 1963 than Maureen O'Hara and Stefanie Powers?

reply

Yup!

Well, Joan Bennett and Elizabeth Taylor in Father of the Bride were a sizzling mom/daughter duo.

Maureen O'Hara was probably my first "older woman" crush as a lad (I won't use the crude modern vernacular here).

Man, she was one of those rare women who was absolutely ageless between 30 and 60, and absolutely gorgeous (and without the benefit of modern cosmetic procedures, to boot).

The main imprint I have of Powers is from the TV series "Hart to Hart". I imagine I saw this movie a few times before I realised it was the same person, but yes, she was (and is) "hot". ;)

it's 20 years before 'McLintock', but Myrna Loy and Teresa Wright in 'The Best Years of Our Lives' were a pretty smokin' pair...

but, boy--do I love O'Hara and Powers in this...it's a great flick!
And Yvonne DeCarlo was still pretty hot, too! :)

Ah, she's another one I had to watch more that once before the light bulb went off (Hey, that's Herman Munster's wife!). I actually recognized her from her voice more than her face, sans the goth makeup.

But yes, very easy on the eyes. ;)
