The Alpha Video release is cut to pieces.

I thought that the image on the cover of Maciste wrestling the two snakes was lifted from another film, but apparently it's a cut scene from this movie. How did they mess that up? It reminds me of the time their copy of The Lost World (1925) boasted of a cameo of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle himself which wasn't in that particular version.

There's also a really cool scene in which Maciste has to deal with a trap involving a bladed ceiling which slowly descends.
