Romantic comedy with a touch of horror

The would-be abortion scene in this good romantic comedy gives the film a VERY hard edge. Thus, my admiration for the film knows no bounds.

There is no "off" position on the genius switch.

Horror?

you mean drama right, because there is NO horror whatsoever in this

When there's no more room in hell, The dead will walk the earth...

Actually it was quite horrorish for me too. I was *beep* scared and could feel Natalie's fear of that devilish woman who supposed to be "a doctor". She was worse than Frankenstein, so I think we can say it has a 'horror touch'!

Viva Bardot!

How can you call horror what REALLY HAPPENED to women at that point in time...if some fools have their way it will again! You are calling horror what was reality at that point in time.

Shame on both of you for putting that name to such a wonderful movie!

What happened to women then was horrible.

Good point. They did a great job of showing the realities of a society in which abortion is illegal (and it was illegal in the States back then).
