Book campared to movie
which is more according to the book.. this version or the 90's?
shareThis version, for sure. They changed a LOT about the 90's version. The kids were American instead of British, they were from a military school, and they didn't even bother to make the characters look the way they were described in the book (Jack has blonde hair in the 90's version, Ralph has dark hair, etc.)

Very significant as well is that the remake changed the dialogue. In the original film the dialogue was taken directly from the book with very few exceptions.
