The book "the long ships" by Frans G. Bengtsson is so good. Everyone should read it!!

Indeed it is! I've studied it in my Swedish Literature course and I LOVED dearly!
It's one of my fav books ever right now!

True, but it's nothing like the film! I love the brothers who, for a short time, believe that they are invulnerable in battle.

Agreed. Wonderful historical novel. Too bad the movie made such a total mess of it.
