That evocative score, with its Southern overtones, really gives the film texture and poignancy.

The score definitely adds to the film. It fits beautifully.

The score seemed to matter so much, I can actually hum parts of it now. Even my brother can figure out what I'm humming. I haven't seen this film since about 1975.

Love the score, one of Goldsmith's best. I have the original vinyl in storage...
