Makes Me Sick

People I knew moved to Australia because they wanted to be away from ground zero. When the tv reported JFK ordered a blockade of Cuba someone at the door knocked and my mother jumped a foot in the air. We all lived under the threat of nuclear war and it was obvious the surviviors would have little to work with. It must have been depressing for these actors to make this movie because at that time we were approaching trigger time. Like the song said, when they push the button there's no running away. If it wasn't for Mikhail Gorbachev and Ronald Reagan we would still be at the brink.
